9TH INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE FIRM FAIR
VB ZAGREB - EUROPEN 2008.

On 13th and 14th March 2008. High school and economic school Benedikt Kotruljević organized a big manifestation: 9th International Practice Firm Fair VB Zagreb – Europen 2008. It gathered more than 600 participants - practice firms from Belgium, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Lithuania and Romania. Apart from the host school, schools from other parts of Croatia from Drniš, Dugo Selo, Makarska and Šibenik also took part.

The fair was held under sponsorship of Ministry of Science, education and sport and Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship. After the welcoming speech of the Principal Nada Morić the Fair was officially opened by Tajana Kesić-Šapić, the state secretary for entrepreneurship.

The students came to present their knowledge in entrepreneurship, management and international business through their practice firms in best possible way. They offered the latest models of Mercedes cars, yachts, they sold music equipment, office materials, women’s clothes, wedding dresses, tourist arrangements, hotel accommodation, cocktails, chocolate products, flower arrangements, bakery products, technical equipment and all sorts of services.

The practice firms whose owners are High school and economic school Benedikta Kotruljević:

All their transactions were reported in BK BANK – the bank of Central office of Europen for Croatia which is inHighschool and economic school Benedikta Kotruljevića.

After the processed transactions the total turnover of the whole fair was 224 520.019,80 kuna. Many adults can envy such a good turnover and the business done. In fact, in these two days 1.333 of business deals were closed.

As the only one in Europe within the fair we organized the competition named „BENKO“.
